'Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime' never made much sense to us. Don't we all learn better with a full stomach? Surely we could do both.
Coaching support, when offered in a person centered, informed space with intent and benchmarking; supports the provision of meaningful support with daily tasks alongside building independence. Provided on an as required basis, coaching services guide participants to work towards achieving capacity building goals while assisting to complete these essential daily tasks as those skills grow.

NDIS coaching usually looks like personalised, capacity building support that helps participants develop skills, confidence, and independence in areas such as recovery, wellbeing, or employment. It’s more hands on and stepping stones goal focused than support coordination, often involving regular sessions with a coach who works alongside you to achieve specific outcomes.
